PAYMENT AND FEE POLICY
- Acceptance of Terms of Use
Artwithheart.co.za’s Payment and Fee Policy details both your and our rights and responsibilities when using Artwithheart.co.za payments for selling or purchasing items. By accessing or using Artwithheart.co.za and using any of our services, you are agreeing to comply with this policy in its entirety as it constitutes an agreement between Artwithheart.co.za and you, making it legally binding. If you do not agree or are not legally capable, as defined in the Terms of Use document, to accept these terms and conditions, then you are not permitted to use Artwithheart.co.za.
- Artwithheart.co.za Fees
2.1 Joining and Listing Fees:
- It is free to join Artwithheart.co.za and to list items.
2.2 Membership Fees:
- Artwithheart.co.za does not charge a membership fee, and sellers can enjoy the platform without incurring a monthly fee.
2.3 Commission Fee:
- A 10% (ten percent) plus VAT sales commission on the selling price of all successful sales is payable to Artwithheart.co.za.
2.4 Transaction/Payment Processing Fee:
- Artwithheart.co.za charges an average fee of around 4.5% on each total transaction, which includes delivery fees and Artwithheart.co.za’s commission.

- Managed Services Fees – Optional Services
3.1 Managed Service 1 – Store Management Fee:
- Artwithheart.co.za offers a stall management service, managing a seller’s stall on their behalf. An additional 20% (twenty percent) of the gross sale amount will be charged, plus VAT.
3.2 Managed Service 3 – Listing Management Fee:
- Artwithheart.co.za offers a listing management service if required otherwise we can come to an arrangement, creating listings for a seller at a fixed fee of R250 + VAT per listing.
- Artwithheart.co.za Payment Process
Artwithheart.co.za facilitates the payment process by accepting payment through authorized credit or debit cards and EFTs (PayFast). Funds are credited to a seller’s account and made available for withdrawal once the withdrawal criteria are met.
- Third-Party Payment Services
Artwithheart.co.za has partnered with third-party service providers, Payfast for regulated payment services and handles various aspects of payment processing. Sellers’ personal or transactional information may be shared with these providers for payment processing purposes.
6. Artwithheart.co.za’s Rights and Responsibilities
Artwithheart.co.za retains the right to modify or discontinue the payment functionality at any time without notice. Transaction limits may be imposed, and services may be refused to anyone at Artwithheart.co.za’s sole discretion.
- Seller Rights and Responsibilities
Sellers are responsible for accurate information and must address disputes and returns directly with customers. Refunds may be deducted from the seller’s payment account balance.
- Bank Charges
Your bank or card provider may charge additional fees for transactions made on Artwithheart.co.za. These fees are not charged by Artwithheart.co.za and are at the discretion of your bank.
- Reimbursement to Artwithheart.co.za
Artwithheart.co.za reserves the right to seek reimbursement.
- Reimbursement to ARTWITHHEART.CO.ZA
10.1 ARTWITHHEART.CO.ZA reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to seek reimbursement from a seller under the following circumstances:
(a) In the event of a customer refund due to the seller’s failure to promptly deliver goods or when a refund is deemed necessary by ARTWITHHEART.CO.ZA.
(b) Discovery of erroneous or duplicate transactions associated with a seller.
(c) Receipt of a charge-back from a customer’s credit card issuer or payment reversal related to a customer’s purchase from a seller.
(d) Non-compliance with ARTWITHHEART.CO.ZA’s policies by the seller.
10.2 Reimbursement may be obtained by ARTWITHHEART.CO.ZA through various means, including deducting from future payments owed to the seller, reversing credits to the seller’s payment account balance, charging the seller’s card on file, charging the seller’s payment account, or utilizing third-party collection services. ARTWITHHEART.CO.ZA reserves the right to suspend a seller’s selling privileges until the outstanding balance is settled.
- Payment Processing Fees
11.1 Payment processing fees for each transaction processed through ARTWITHHEART.CO.ZA payments will be deducted by ARTWITHHEART.CO.ZA.
11.2 The seller is responsible for any payment fees associated with a reimbursement.
- Termination
12.1 Sellers may terminate this contract and their acceptance of ARTWITHHEART.CO.ZA payments at any time by adjusting the settings in their ARTWITHHEART.CO.ZA account. ARTWITHHEART.CO.ZA may also terminate or suspend a seller’s use of ARTWITHHEART.CO.ZA payments at any time.
12.2 Upon termination, any non-disputed available funds will be promptly deposited into the seller’s bank account. ARTWITHHEART.CO.ZA, upon termination, may set off against any payments due to the seller an amount determined to be adequate to cover anticipated charge-backs, refunds, adjustments, or other amounts payable to customers within a prospective 60-day period. At the end of this 60-day period, any remaining amount will be disbursed to the seller. ARTWITHHEART.CO.ZA may seek reimbursement from the seller for any additional amount required to offset charge-backs, refunds, adjustments, or other amounts paid to customers, as applicable, through means authorized in this Policy or by law.
